Listed here are the server's gameplay rules. By playing or being part of this server you automatically agree to these rules.

Chat Rules

Rule #1 - No spamming messages, flooding chat with character spam, or using excessive caps.

Explanation:

Spamming is not allowed. Any messages that flood a chat, whether it be more than five words of caps, repeated messages, or character spam will not be tolerated. Pinging community members or staff members on our Discord server also falls under this rule. We want to keep our chats and channels freely flowing. Bypassing the spam filter to spam in-game also falls under this rule.

Rule #2 - Racism, Sexism, and Hate Speech are strictly prohibited.

Explanation:

We do not tolerate the use of hate speech and discrimination on our server. This includes racism, homophobia, sexism, and slurs. We are an inclusive server that has community members from all races, cultures, and sexualities. This rule also applies to direct messages. Please note that whilst some races or cultures use words that other communities cannot use, we do not allow for them to be said by ANY player to keep our community safe.

Rule #3 - Offensive Language and 18+ Subjects are prohibited.

Explanation:

Our Discord and Minecraft server contain community members that are minors. We do not allow for offensive/toxic language or adult-only subjects/content to be used in any of our chats. This includes the use of signs in-game or in-game builds. Even if you are communicating with someone who you believe to be a non-minor, we ask that you do not use any offensive language or discuss any 18+ subjects.

Rule #4 - Please do not talk about sensitive subjects.

Explanation: Our community has members with varying backgrounds. Certain topics may be sensitive to certain members and could cause a negative impact on their well-being. Please do not discuss any topics that may be triggering or discuss any topics such as religion, politics, etc that may trigger arguments or debates.

Rule #5 - Harassment and abuse is not allowed.

Explanation:

Harassing community members or staff members is forbidden. This includes spamming hateful, sexual or triggering messages in game chat, our Discord server and in direct messages. This should be common sense and common courtesy, but please treat everyone with respect. Do not name-call; act offensively towards others; make fun of other community members or staff, etc.

Rule #6 - No advertising.

Explanation:

We do not allow advertising of any kind, whether it be in-game, in our Discord server or through private DMs. This includes: social media profiles; Discord servers; stream links and other Minecraft servers.

Rule #7 - DDOS Threats and Dox Threats are strictly prohibited.

Explanation:

DDOS and Dox Threats are taken incredibly seriously. We aim to keep our community as safe and protected as possible. Any threats to release any personal information such as IPs and locations are strictly prohibited. DDOS threats such as threats to crash the server or take the server offline also fall under this rule.

Rule #8 - Do not try to evade your mute.

Explanation:

If you have been muted, you are not allowed to communicate. If you use an alternative account to continue to talk whilst you are muted, you will be punished for mute evading. Chatting with signs in-game is allowed if you are muted, but chat rules still apply to sign messages.

Gameplay Rules

Rule #1 - Do not evade your ban by logging into the server on an alternate account.

Explanation:

The use of alternative accounts when one of your accounts is banned is strictly prohibited. If you use an alternative account to continue to play whilst you are banned, you will be punished for ban evading.

Rule #2 - No NSFW Usernames, Skins, or Item Names.

Explanation:

Having a username, skin or item name that is offensive, is 18+ in content or references any 18+ or sensitive subjects is prohibited.

Rule #3 - Do not abuse exploits or bugs, please report them to staff if you are aware of them!

Explanation:

Exploits and bugs are any unintentional features in-game that players can use to gain an unfair advantage. This includes player-shop glitches, in-game glitches, duplication glitches, etc. Any player who knows of an exploit and fails to report it to a staff member will be implicated under this rule.

Rule #4 - No Solicitation.

Explanation:

Users are not allowed to promote the sale of in-game items, currency, coins, or services for real-world currency. You cannot trade for real-life money, or gift cards, or crypto currency. Any user participating in solicitation will be permanently banned from PokeSMP platforms.
